The Puppet Skin Contact (Orange Wine) boasts the fragrance & elegance of a white wine, with the texture, richness & depth of a red wine.

44.5% Grenache Blanc

9.5% Orange Muscat

25% Pinot Gris

7% Chenin Blanc

14% Grenache Gris

11.5% Alc./Vol.

AVA: Central Coast, CA
Serving Temp: 50-55°F

Winemaking: Fermenting on grape skins for 12 days develops a rich orange color & alluring aromatics.

White grape varieties picked at low sugar levels. Destemmed into rotary fermenters for ~4-5 days of cold soaking on grape skins. Fermentation and gentle extraction for 8-10 days. Fermented to dryness in stainless steel.

A slow tortoise beats a fast hare in a race because the hare is overconfident and takes a nap. Slow and steady wins the race.

The Puppet Chillable Red boasts the fruitiness of a red wine and the refreshing characteristics of a white wine.

Serving Temp: 45-50°F

Winemaking: Red grape varieties picked at low sugar levels. All fruit was destemmed and crushed. Grapes were fermented separately with gentle fermentation techniques to avoid over extraction. Aged in stainless steel for 16 months.
